We partnered with our friends at Studio Kiln to reimagine Mayda’s visual identity, bring the metaphor of Mayda’s name to life, and reflect who we are as an ever-evolving, talent-driven creative company.

Mayda was an island that appeared on early maps; charted, imagined, but never found. We chose the name as a metaphor for creative exploration: the pursuit of ideas just beyond reach, somewhere beyond the horizon. That sense of curiosity and discovery shape how we approach our work and client partnerships; a collaborative search for the new.

At the center of the new identity is the MAYDA wordmark. The expanded ‘Y’ acts as a wayfinder, pointing toward new destinations and shifting with each creative journey. On the site, layered depth and horizontal movement invokes the theme of the horizon line, and invites visitors to explore the various creative territories of our work.
