When Grey & Townhouse approached us, they were in search of a creative partner adept at transforming high-fidelity concepts into fantastic, full graphic worlds. Centered around the launch of the iPhone on the Boost network, we were tasked with taking a collection of AI-engineered images and breathing life into them, by crafting fully-realized fantastical worlds that represented the connectivity, modernity and near-infinite reach of the Boost network.
Each film in the campaign featured a unique element central to its narrative – from the hybrid daisy informing the ‘Garden’ world, to the connecting bridges in the ‘Explorer’ world, to intricate ice patterns on the bubbles of the ‘Ice’ world, each film integrated these visual metaphors to symbolise change and connectivity across the Boost Infinite universe.
Central to each film was the iPhone 15 Pro, marking its debut on the Boost Infinite network. However, the production came with an extraordinary challenge: we had to start shooting the product film without actually knowing what the iPhone 15 Pro looked like. Like the rest of the world, we had to wait for Apple’s keynote to see the device, leaving us less than a week to finalize and air the first commercial.
This demanded exceptional agility across our creative and production teams. We developed a flexible methodology to accommodate last-minute feature reveals, integrating them seamlessly once the device was finally in hand. To enhance visual fidelity, we also pioneered a novel technique for capturing product reflections, ensuring the iPhone 15 Pro looked as striking as possible in the final films—all within an unprecedented timeline.
