Client: Plaid
Brand: Plaid
Type: Branded Content, Creative Technology,
Service: Creative Development, Direction, Experience Design, Virtual Production, Design & Animation

Plaid has been shaking up financial services for over a decade, building the network that connects the entire finance ecosystem. For ‘Effects 24’, we created an immersive keynote event that merged live speaker performances with virtual production and motion design to unveil the next era of fintech.

With Mayda Director Devin Moss as showrunner, we set out to create a production where every speaker looked and sounded confident, natural, and at ease. Our approach prioritized authenticity, making sure each live-action moment felt engaging and real.

By merging speaker performances with virtual environments, we crafted an immersive visual experience that held attention and brought the content to life. Motion design added energy and clarity, turning each product innovation into something instantly understandable and exciting.

The sub-brand that Plaid created for the show was elegantly simple, so the event’s design had to match. We built on this foundation to put the brand into motion in a way that complemented each speaker’s style and content, to create an event look that was felt immersive and future-facing; a Plaid brand moment.

From striking motion graphics to dynamic infographics and UI animations, we designed every frame of animation to enhance storytelling and messaging. New product capabilities were visualized in a way that made even the most complex financial terms clear and understandable.
