Three-time Emmy®-nominated director joins Mayda for representation in the US and Canada.

Mayda is excited to announce the addition of Heidi Berg (they/them), a celebrated director, artist, and mental health advocate, to its creative collective. Represented by Mayda in the US and Canada, Heidi brings a unique approach and perspective to storytelling that adds a modern creative edge to their work.

As a queer, trans, and nonbinary storyteller, Heidi’s work explores the interplay between the personal and transpersonal, employing metaphor, archetype, and myth to craft compelling narratives. Their aesthetic, blending design, photography, live-action, and visual effects, has earned multiple accolades, including three Emmy® nominations for Netflix’s How to Change Your Mind, The Politician, and TNT’s The Alienist. Heidi’s portfolio spans iconic brands such as Apple, Nike, and Google, alongside title sequences for acclaimed series like Pose, Ratched, Under the Banner of Heaven, and Hollywood.
