JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuke/Flame compositor with proven experience in top-tier commercial production. The ideal candidate pairs strong technical expertise with a refined creative eye and is adept at integrating AI-generated assets into traditional compositing workflows. They are curious and proactive about exploring new tools, techniques, and emerging technologies to elevate their craft. This role requires someone who can confidently manage a timeline from early development through final delivery, ensuring polished, production-ready output.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Expert-level proficiency in Nuke, with proven experience,
• Timeline and delivery management.
• Advanced skills in CG integration, multilayered compositing and digital environments
• A strategic, hands-on understanding of AI-based tools and workflows
• Curiosity and exploration with emerging tools
• A strong visual sense and artistic judgment, with the ability to enhance storytelling through impactful visual choices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working closely with pipeline teams.
• Mentor junior artists and foster a growth-focused culture that supports learning

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead and execute high-end compositing work on complex VFX sequences using Nuke.
• Integrate AI tools and methodologies into existing and emerging pipelines to improve quality, speed, and creative capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify, test, and deploy innovative AI technologies that complement traditional compositing.
• Establish and help refine best practices for AI-assisted visual workflows, from automation strategies to advanced look development.
• Maintain a continuous focus on photorealism, detail, and creative excellence across all deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years in VFX with a strong compositing background
• Experience with AI Generative platforms
• Proven experience supervising compositing teams on high-end TV, film, or commercial projects.
• Deep understanding of 2D/3D workflows, color pipelines and integration techniques.
• Strong eye for visual continuity, photorealism, and storytelling through image composition.
• Demonstrated ability to develop or lead development of tools/scripts/workflows in collaboration with pipeline engineers.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
