The Black Kitchen Series: Innovators, Season 2 wins top prize in Commercial Media at the 2024 James Beard Media Awards

The Black Kitchen Series, our collaboration Wieden+Kennedy New York and developed for Heinz, has won the Commercial Media award at the 2024 James Beard Media Awards. The awards ceremony took place in Chicago on June 8, celebrating excellence in food-related media.

This six-part podcast series showcases Black innovators in the culinary world, including chefs, artists, activists, and farmers. Through in-depth stories, the series highlights their rich traditions and groundbreaking innovations, offering listeners a deep dive into the vibrant and dynamic world of Black culinary excellence.

The Commercial Media award is part of the James Beard Broadcast Media Awards, which honor outstanding food-related media with prominent visual branding, commercial funding, and paid advertising. This recognition underscores the creativity and dedication that went into producing the podcast.
